I like comics that had characters with super human powers. But I guess it had a huge following. In a time when Hollywood has run out of movie ideas; anyone could guess that Iron Man was next on the list. But hearing that the movie was going to be made made no difference to me. "Another bad comic movie" I thought. Spiderman was always bad. The first one sucked....the second one was worse.....and I haven't even seen the third! But it made a bazillion dollars which goes to show the movie going public has no taste. Then there is The Hulk....the first one sucked....and looked cheesy...so why not make another....WTF! Seriously....<br /><br />After hear the great reviews and checking IMDB (a site I trust) I decided to check out Iron Man. It was good....damn good! I like a movie that builds a story. And this movie delivers just that. I want to know the characters...and in this movie I do! Jeff Bridges play a great bad guy. And the movie gives a bit of social commentary about the world we live in.....mainly the middle east. Can you say Bonus! So yes good movie....top 10 for superhero movies? Ever since my wife twisted my arm to watch Chicago; I have been a Queen Latifah fan. So one day while as a team building exercise for Verizon Publishing we watched last holiday starring...you guessed it: Queen Latifah. Damn funny movie! So when my Aunt brought over Mad Money and my wife wanted to watch it; I was oh hell yeah! <br /><br />Well the movie starts by showing us the end...almost! People destroying mad amounts of money. So in the first 5 second I know they are going to be caught. That sucks....Anyways once the movie really starts (from the beginning of the story) I am plenty entertained. The head of the treasury is Stephen Root) the boss from Newsradio, Milton from Office Space, and the old dude in Dodgeball. He's always great. <br /><br />Now comes the let down.....from the first moment we meet Tom Cruise's brainwashed wife (Katie Holmes), it goes south in a hurry....she is a terribly annoying actress! She also downright bad in Go. But tolerable in Batman Begins. Nevertheless she ruined the movie for me. I instantly lost interest and went outside to look through my telescope for aliens.
